The previous admission campaign has ended, and the time for innovations - 2025 promises many interesting changes. One of the most important was the significant increase in the cost of contract education. The new prices at leading universities in the country have become an unpleasant surprise for applicants.
At Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the cost of a four-year bachelor's program for future managers has reached 312.8 thousand hryvnias, which is 45% higher than last year. And at KNU, where 'Law' was taught for 264 thousand hryvnias, this year students will have to pay 306.4 thousand – an increase of 16%.
Meanwhile, Lviv Polytechnic University has increased its tuition fees most drastically - by 78.6%. As a result, four years of study here will cost a student 227.2 thousand hryvnias. Other universities have also not stayed away from this trend.
Bachelor's students are offered grants to compensate for the new prices, but will there be enough for everyone? We will have to wait for more updates, as the admission campaign has just begun, and there is already much to remember.
