The Armed Forces of Ukraine updated information on the losses of Russian occupiers as of the beginning of Sunday, October 5, 2025.



Russia's losses in the war as of October 5, 2025



The Russian side has suffered the following losses as of October 5:



  • personnel - approximately 1,115,250 (+870) people;

  • tanks - 11,230 (+4) units;

  • armored combat vehicles - 23,299 (+1) units;

  • artillery systems - 33,446 (+18) units;

  • multiple rocket launchers - 1,516 (+1) units;

  • air defense systems - 1,222 (+0) units;

  • airplanes - 427 (+0) units;

  • helicopters - 346 (+0) units;

  • operational-tactical UAVs - 66,863 (+320) units;

  • cruise missiles - 3,803 (+0) units;

  • ships / boats - 28 (+0) units;

  • submarines - 1 (+0) unit;

  • automotive equipment and tank trucks - 63,433 (+35) units;

  • special equipment - 3,971 (+0) units.



It is worth noting that the war in Ukraine has been going on for 1,320 days.



Data from the Armed Forces of Ukraine indicate that the Russian side continues to suffer significant losses in the course of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, which indicates the activity of Ukrainian forces and the effectiveness of countering the occupiers.
