The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated data on Russia's losses in the war. The total number of personnel losses is about 1,220,000, including an increase of 1,060 over the last day.
Russia's equipment losses
As of January 12, 2026, Russia has suffered significant losses in equipment. In particular, the number of:
- tanks - 11,541 units
- armored fighting vehicles - 23,892 units
- artillery systems - 35,973 units
- multiple launch rocket systems - 1,598
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,270
- airplanes - 434
- helicopters - 347
Furthermore, there has been an increase in the number of operational-tactical level drones, totaling 104,421 units, which is an increase of 353 units. Overall, Russia's losses in the war with Ukraine have continued for 1,419 days.
