Russian Military Casualties as of April 13, 2026
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has published updated figures on Russian military losses as of the morning of April 13, 2026. This date marks the 1,510th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine, a conflict that has fundamentally reshaped European security.
According to the report, Russia's total personnel losses have risen to approximately 1,312,140, an increase of 960 from the previous update. The reported losses of military equipment include:
- tanks: 11,861 (+2)
- armored combat vehicles: 24,386 (+2)
- artillery systems: 39,915 (+44)
- multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 1,728 (+1)
- air defense systems: 1,346 (+1)
- aircraft: 435 (no change)
- helicopters: 350 (no change)
The data also records substantial losses in operational-tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles, which now total 235,394 units (+1,528). Other losses include 4,517 cruise missiles, 33 ships/boats, and 2 submarines. Furthermore, losses in automotive equipment and fuel tankers amount to 89,099 units (+185), with an additional 4,123 units of special equipment lost (+2).
These figures underscore the continued intensity of combat operations, now in their fifth year, and the significant strain on Russia's military infrastructure. The scale of lost resources highlights the immense cost of the war for the aggressor state, both in human and material terms.
