The report also details extensive losses of military hardware. Specifically, Russia has lost:
- 11,605 tanks (+2)
- 23,950 armored combat vehicles (+1)
- 36,612 artillery systems (+32)
- 1,624 multiple launch rocket systems (+1)
- 1,286 air defense systems (+3)
- 434 fixed-wing aircraft and 347 helicopters (no change)
Furthermore, significant losses are noted in other categories: 114,896 operational-tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles (+847), 4,205 cruise missiles (+15), and 28 ships/boats along with 2 submarines in the naval component. Losses also include 75,759 vehicles and fuel tankers (+115) and 4,050 units of special equipment. These figures are compiled by Ukrainian military intelligence and represent one side's assessment of the conflict.
The sustained scale of these losses in personnel and matériel continues to degrade the Russian army's operational capabilities in Ukraine. Such attrition, now entering its fifth year, is likely to have strategic consequences for the future course of the conflict by eroding Russia's combat effectiveness. The regular updating of this grim statistics underscores both the intensity and the protracted nature of the fighting.
