Russia's losses in the war as of December 29, 2025
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated the data on Russia's losses in the war as of December 29, 2025. The total number of personnel losses is approximately 1,205,690 people, of which 1,180 died during the recent period.
Equipment losses
According to information, equipment losses are also significant. Russia has lost:
- 11,472 tanks (of which 3 units were lost in the last reporting period);
- 23,837 armored fighting vehicles (of which 6 were recently lost);
- 35,570 artillery systems (with the addition of 13 new cases);
- 1,581 multiple rocket launchers;
- 1,264 air defense systems;
- 434 aircraft;
- 347 helicopters;
- 96,532 tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles (with an increase of 305 units);
Losses of cruise missiles, ships and boats, submarines, automotive equipment, and special equipment have also been recorded.
The duration of the full-scale war as of December 29, 2025, is 1,405 days.
This data reflects the duration of the conflict and serious consequences for the Russian army, both in human and technical resources.
