Information about the losses of Russian occupiers in the war was updated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the morning of Saturday, July 12, 2025.



Russia's losses as of July 12, 2025


According to the report, as of July 12, Russia has lost:



  • personnel - over 1,032,690 people;

  • tanks - 11,013 units;

  • armored fighting vehicles - 22,980 units;

  • artillery systems - 30,194 units;

  • MLRS - 1,437 units;

  • air defense systems - 1,193 units;

  • aircraft - 420 units;

  • helicopters - 340 units;

  • operational-tactical UAVs - 45,248 units;

  • cruise missiles - 3,436 units;

  • ships/boats - 28 units;

  • submarines - 1 unit;

  • automotive and fuel tankers - 54,822 units;

  • special equipment - 3,929 units.



Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of July 12



  • Black Sea: enemy ships are absent;

  • Azov Sea: enemy ships are absent;

  • Mediterranean Sea: three enemy ships, one carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to four missiles.



Throughout the day, through the Kerch Strait toward Russian interests, there passed:



  • into the Black Sea - eight vessels, of which five continued towards the Bosporus;

  • into the Azov Sea - seven vessels, of which two are moving from the Bosporus.


The full-scale war in Ukraine has now lasted 1,235 days.



This update shows that the losses of the Russian occupiers in the war have significantly increased. Additionally, information about the activity of the fleet and the movement of vessels through the Kerch Strait provides an insight into the situation in various regions. The war in Ukraine continues further, demonstrating the commitment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to protect the country.
