The Armed Forces of Ukraine headquarters reported fresh data on the losses of Russian occupiers as of the morning of June 28, 2025.

Russian losses in the war as of June 28, 2025


In particular, the Russian troops lost:



  • personnel - about 1,017,720 people;

  • tanks - 10,970 units;

  • armored fighting vehicles - 22,908 units;

  • artillery systems - 29,665 units;

  • Multiple launch rocket systems - 1,425 units;

  • air defense systems - 1,189 units;

  • aircraft - 420 units;

  • helicopters - 337 units;

  • operational-tactical drones - 42,477 units;

  • cruise missiles - 3,394 units;

  • boats/ships - 28 units;

  • submarines - 1 unit;

  • automotive equipment and tank trucks - 53,415 units;

  • special equipment - 3,921 units.



Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of June 28



  • No enemy ships in the Black Sea;

  • No enemy ships in the Sea of Azov;

  • In the Mediterranean Sea, two enemy ships, carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles, are absent.



During the day, through the Kerch Strait passed:



  • in the Black Sea - 7 vessels, of which 4 continued their movement towards the Bosporus Strait;

  • in the Sea of Azov - 10 vessels, of which 3 were moving from the Bosporus Strait.



Despite the activity of the Russian fleet in all directions, the Ukrainian troops continue to resist the enemy. We remind you that it is the 1221st day of the war in Ukraine.


The information about the losses of Russian occupiers in the war as of June 28, 2025, indicates significant losses in various categories of equipment and personnel. The Ukrainian troops continue to defend their territory, despite the activity of the Russian fleet in various maritime areas.
