On December 12-13, the traditional All-Ukrainian indoor athletics competition 'New Year Jumper Day' took place in Lviv, bringing together athletes from various regions of Ukraine.
The program included high jumps, long jumps, and pole vaulting. In the U16 category, the winners were athletes with personal records. Among juniors, the highest height was cleared by Arsenii Havrylov, and among women, the winner was Viktoriia Baranivska.
A running festival also took place in Lviv, with over 500 participants from 16 regions. The fastest on the 60-meter distance were Vitalii Klimchuk and Danyila Khavan. The program also included competitions in other distances.
Open athletics competitions were held in Kyiv. Nazar Rozhanovsky became the winner of the 60-meter run among boys under 16, while Polina Zakhidna won two gold medals in the 400 and 800-meter distances among girls U14.

This year, interesting athletics competitions took place in Ukraine as part of the active sports life in both Lviv and Kyiv. Talented athletes from various regions of the country participated, demonstrating a high level of training and competing for victory in various disciplines.
