Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air resumed its base in Romanian Suceava and announced the launch of seven new international flights ahead of the Christmas holidays. This city is the closest European airport to the Ukrainian border, so travel to the EU will become more accessible for residents of western regions. This is reported by Wizz Air.
The airline announced that it added over 130,000 seats for the winter season and is basing two new Airbus A321neo aircraft in Suceava. New destinations will start operating from December 15 to 18, and tickets are already available for online booking.

Air connections near the border with Ukraine: what is known about the base in Suceava
After the launch of new flights, the total number of Wizz Air routes from Suceava increased to 13 destinations in six countries. The airport is actively being developed as a regional hub, also focused on passengers from Ukraine.
