Yaktak's Operation After Leg Injury
Singer Yaktak, whose real name is Yaroslav Karpuk, underwent surgery after a leg injury sustained during a concert tour in the USA in September 2025. The unforeseen operation was the result of an accident that occurred during a performance on stage. Yaktak, who was 20 years old at the time of the incident, spoke about his condition and the recovery process, which included months of rehabilitation, ice use, and bandaging.
According to the artist, the injury happened after a very unfortunate step on stage, leading to the need for surgical intervention. Yaktak noted:
“The story that began in September 2025, during the USA tour, after one very unfortunate step on stage, months of treatment, tons of ice, bandaging, and still no operation could be avoided.”This highlights the seriousness of the injury and the lengthy recovery process.
Charity Concert and Support for the Military
Recall that on August 28, 2023, Yaktak performed at a charity concert in Sofiivska Borshchahivka, where he raised funds for the military. As the singer emphasized,
“It was a performance with free entry, for everyone willing, to collect as many donations as possible for the military. We always remember that the only reason we can live is the Defense Forces of Ukraine.”This gesture underscores the artist's support for his compatriots in difficult times.
