Starting October 1, 2025, Ukrainians will face increased prices for mobile communication, as the largest operators review their tariffs. In particular, “Kyivstar” announced a rise in prices for several tariff plans, whereas “Vodafone” is limiting itself to changing the names of tariffs without affecting prices.

“Kyivstar” raises mobile communication tariffs again

“Kyivstar” is increasing prices for tariffs that have not been updated for over a year. Starting September 24, prepaid subscribers will pay:

  • LOVE UA Light 2023 — 300 UAH for 4 weeks;

  • With superpower Savings — 225 UAH for 4 weeks.

From October 1, the contract tariff LOVE UA Contract will cost 250 UAH per month. The company explained that the price increase is due to the rising cost of electricity during peak hours, fuel price increases for generators, as well as inflation and currency fluctuations.

“The price changes are necessary to ensure the stable operation of the network amid rising costs,” — noted the press service of “Kyivstar”.

“Vodafone” will not raise tariffs from October 1

Instead, “Vodafone” is not raising tariffs, only changing the names of some tariff plans starting September 25. The terms and prices for subscribers remain unchanged, as the company informed its clients.

Lifecell operator also raises prices from October 1

Some lifecell tariff plans and services will be eliminated, while prices for some special offers will increase. Thus, the tariff plans "Unified Network Premium 30" and "Unified Network Premium 30 Prepaid" will cost 40 UAH instead of 30 UAH from October 1, 2025.

Changes in operators' tariffs reflect the general economic challenges in Ukraine, including rising energy resource costs and inflation. At the same time, operators are trying to maintain the quality of communication and expand offers for clients.
