From 2026, the fee for export certificates on products will increase: the new amount

З 2026 року відбудеться підвищення зборів за сертифікати на експорт товарів: нові ставки.

Changes in the processing of international certificates in Ukraine

Starting from 2026, the mandatory fee for processing international certificates for food products of animal and non-animal origin has changed in Ukraine. The cost of one certificate is now 432.35 UAH. These changes may affect food producers and exporters who supply goods to the EU markets and other countries that require international certification.

New Certificate Cost

The fee for processing international certificates changed from January 1, 2026. The new fee for issuing a certificate is 0.05 times the monthly minimum wage. Considering that the minimum wage in Ukraine from January 1, 2026, is 8,647 UAH per month, the new cost of the certificate is defined in the specified amount.

These changes may affect the activities of companies engaged in the export of food products, as the new certification costs need to be taken into account in business plans. Importantly, this new amount applies to all exporters of animal and non-animal products who seek to enter international markets.

The change in certification costs may prompt producers to adapt their strategies in order to remain competitive in external markets. Accounting for new costs will become an important aspect in the pricing of exported products. This may also affect export volumes, as some producers may decide to reduce their international operations due to the increased certification costs.
