Today marks the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine! This holiday is intended to honor the military who risk their lives defending the independence and territorial integrity of our country.
Results of NABU and SAP Investigations
To date, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office have conducted 285 investigations in the defense sector. As a result, 34 indictment acts were drawn up and a significant amount was recovered - 2.9 billion hryvnias for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a holiday that reminds us of the importance of military service and the sacrifice of our defenders. The investigations by NABU and SAP highlight the importance of combating corruption in the defense sector and the use of public funds for the needs of national security.
