Ukraine has managed to return another group of children from temporarily occupied territories. According to 'Glavkom', this news was confirmed by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak.
These children became targets of Russian special services due to their refusal to comply with the rules imposed by the occupiers - they were persecuted, searched, interrogated, tortured. One boy was pressured simply because he didn't want to study in a Russian school. The youngest of those rescued is only three years old, and even she was subjected to violence because of her use of the Ukrainian language, - the message states.
According to Yermak, all these children are currently safe: 'I am grateful to the Save Ukraine team for their professional work and help in rescuing the children. We are fulfilling the president's task - to return all children.'
We remind that the Russian Federation continues to commit crimes against Ukrainian children, holding under its control up to 1.6 million minors - either deported or those living in occupied territories.
Ukraine continues its efforts to return children from temporarily occupied territories, despite attempts by the Russian Federation to limit their freedoms and rights.
