Russian troops have started using the new airfield 'Kacha' in the west of temporarily occupied Crimea to launch strike drones of the 'Shahed' type. This will significantly increase the speed of delivering drones to the territories of Odesa, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.

Today, combat drones launched from this new base struck one of the factories in the Odesa region, flying to their destination in just 40 minutes. In total, there are known to be 14 launch sites in various regions used for launching drones.

In September, Russian occupation forces carried out 5554 attacks using 'Shahed-136' kamikaze drones, military analyst Oleksandr Kovalenko reported. His words confirm the trend of increasing incidents involving the use of drones by Russian groupings.

Kovalenko warns about the construction of new launch sites for drones near the border with Ukraine, indicating an intention to increase the intensity of such attacks. If this trend continues, by 2025, Russian garrisons may expect about 7000 drones for terrorist actions.
