In a day, 154 combat clashes: how battles continue on the front on January 4
On January 4, active hostilities continue in Ukraine. As of 22:00, 154 combat clashes have been recorded. During the day, the invaders carried out 23 airstrikes, using one missile and dropping 75 guided bombs. Additionally, 4663 kamikaze drones were deployed, indicating a significant intensity of attacks from the enemy.
There were also 3057 shelling incidents against Ukrainian forces and populated areas. Numerous attempts by the enemy to attack occurred along various fronts. In particular, 93 shellings were carried out on the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions. On the Southern Slobozhansky direction, defense forces repelled 7 attacks, while in the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance three times.
Situation on the front
In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions nine times. Defense forces successfully repelled 6 attacks in the Sloviansk direction, while one combat clash was recorded in the Kramatorsk direction. In the Kostiantynivka direction, the Russians attempted to attack the Defense Forces' positions 17 times.
In the Pokrovsk direction, invading units tried to break through the defense 47 times, while 22 attacks were recorded in the Oleksandrivka direction. Defense forces also repelled 53 attacks in the Hulyaipole direction and 6 enemy attempts to advance in the Orikhiv direction.
As a result of the combat actions in the Pokrovsk direction, 121 occupiers were neutralized, of which 95 were irreversible losses. Additionally, 29 unmanned aerial vehicles, 10 units of automotive equipment, a satellite communication terminal, 3 ground robotic complexes, and 3 ammunition depots were destroyed.
As of today, the full-scale war in Ukraine has reached its 1411th day. The situation on the front remains tense, with ongoing hostilities and significant losses on both sides.
The increase in the intensity of hostilities on the front indicates the continuation of a conflict that has lasted for more than four years.
