The Ministry of Defense has identified priorities in the development of underwater demining in Ukraine. This decision is an important step in ensuring safety in water bodies, restoring economic activity, and protecting the environment in the context of armed aggression from Russia.
Specialized expert groups will work on ensuring the regulatory framework, improving methodologies and operational procedures, conducting assessments, verifications and certifications, training diver-sappers, as well as studying ecological aspects and methods of interaction with explosive objects in aquatic conditions.
