Assessment of Ukraine in the area of 'Independence of the Prosecutor's Office' according to OECD
Ukraine received a high compliance score with OECD standards in the fifth round of monitoring of the Istanbul Action Plan, scoring 58.1 points out of 100. The monitoring team highlighted the following positive aspects:
- clear grounds for the disciplinary responsibility of prosecutors;
- automated distribution of cases in the KDKP and collegial decision-making;
- transparent competitive selection of prosecutors in district prosecutor's offices;
- effective functioning of the prosecution self-government bodies.
