More than 2 million Ukrainians have already received 'Winter Support' over the weekend. A total of 1.58 billion hryvnias has been allocated for over 2 million citizens, with 1.5 million people receiving support via the Diia app from November 23 to 30 and nearly 600 thousand people from December 1 to 4.
Subsequent payments will be sent to those who submitted applications from December 5 to 7 through Diia. This time, more than 350 million hryvnias are planned to be allocated for 289.5 thousand Ukrainians.
In total, the 'Winter Support' program has received 15.7 million applications, of which 12.6 million were submitted through Diia and 1.1 million via Ukrposhta. So far, over 11.6 million Ukrainians have already received assistance. It is also worth noting that the amount of payments through the 'National Cashback' card has exceeded 2.2 billion hryvnias, and the funds are most often spent on utility bills, medicines, books, and charity.
As a reminder, applications for the 'Winter Thousand' can be submitted until December 24, 2025, through Diia or Ukrposhta branches. This assistance can be received by all citizens of Ukraine who are in the country, except for those who are abroad or in temporarily occupied territories. It is important to note that a separate application must be submitted for each child.
