On the night of September 8, the Kyiv region once again became a target of kamikaze drone attacks, causing severe explosions in the Obukhiv region. According to preliminary reports, the Trypillia thermal power plant was also hit. The shelling led to power outages in some areas of the region, but the authorities have not yet reported details of the attack and its consequences.

At the same time, US President Donald Trump expressed confidence in resolving the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. He noted that European leaders are planning to visit the United States to discuss ways to resolve this issue and stated that soon he would begin negotiations with Russian President Putin.

«Listen, I... we will do this. The situation with Russia and Ukraine... we will change this. I am confident that we will do this. I believe we will handle it, but I am disappointed in this war», - Trump said.

Protests in Istanbul

Mass protests against President Erdogan began in Turkey due to a police siege of the opposition party CHP's office in Istanbul. Following a court ruling about changing the party leadership, the police blocked access to its main office, causing outrage from the party leader and calls for mass protests.

In response, the authorities in Istanbul banned demonstrations in several areas and increased the number of police on the streets. Local media report clashes between protesters and police special forces during the protests.

The Ukrainian Kyiv region was again attacked by kamikaze drones, causing explosions in the Obukhiv region and disrupting power supply in some areas. During this time, the US president expressed confidence in resolving the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and plans to begin negotiations with Putin.
