Remembering Mykhailo Prykhidko: A Fallen Soldier from Lviv
On February 7, 2026, Ukrainian serviceman Mykhailo Prykhidko was killed while carrying out a combat mission in the Kherson region. His death brought tragedy to his family and friends. Prykhidko was serving with the 77th Separate Airmobile Nadniprianska Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces at the time of his death. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine's south and east continues to claim the lives of soldiers defending their nation's sovereignty.
Born in Lviv on November 20, 1994, Mykhailo Prykhidko was educated at the Lviv Legal Gymnasium. He later studied at the Ukrainian Academy of Printing, specializing in publishing and the printing industry. Following his studies, he worked in the catering sector for private businesses. In 2025, he made the decision to dedicate himself to military service and enlisted in the army.
Honoring His Memory
During his service, Prykhidko was awarded the 'War Veteran' medal for his service to the state. Following his death, he was laid to rest at the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv, in field of honor burial plot No. 87 on Pasichna Street. He is survived and remembered by:
