The Loss of Andriy Belyayev
Ukrainian serviceman Andriy Belyayev was killed in action on February 15, 2024. His death represents a profound loss for his family and the nation. Belyayev was born on June 4, 1983, in the city of Piatykhatky, Dnipropetrovsk region. He completed his education at Piatykhatky Secondary School No. 1 and later earned an economics degree from Oles Honchar Dnipro National University.
Military Service and Legacy
Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Andriy chose to defend his country. He served with the 14th Separate Operational Brigade named after Ivan Bohun, a unit of the National Guard of Ukraine known as 'Chervona Kalyna' (Red Viburnum), on the Zaporizhzhia front. His service stands as a symbol of courage and sacrifice, as he left behind his civilian career as a regional manager at Star Brands LLC to take up arms for his homeland.
