Tragedy on the Roads of Poland
In Poland, in the town of Zielenciny, a traffic accident occurred in which six people died, five of whom were citizens of Ukraine. The accident happened on December 23 at the intersection of two national roads. A head-on collision occurred between a Ford Kuga and a Volkswagen Passat.
According to information, the accident occurred in the morning near Brzeg. The driver of the Ford Kuga, a 59-year-old local resident, could not avoid the collision with the Volkswagen Passat, which ignited from the powerful impact. As a result of the accident, six people died, five of whom were citizens of Ukraine.
Road Incidents in Ukraine
Currently, autopsies are scheduled to take place on Monday. This tragedy occurred against the backdrop of other road incidents in Ukraine, including:
- An accident on the Kyiv-Ovruč highway that occurred on December 25, where an eight-year-old boy died.
- A traffic accident in the Svyatoshynskyi district of Kyiv on December 24, in which a 25-year-old driver of a Porsche Cayenne died.
This tragedy highlights serious safety problems on the roads that exist both in Ukraine and beyond. Frequent traffic accidents resulting in fatalities raise concerns in society, especially when foreign nationals become victims.
