The Death of Defender Dmytro Tarasevych
Ukrainian soldier Dmytro Tarasevych, 34, was killed by enemy shelling in the Donetsk region on August 10, 2024. Following his secondary education, he trained as a programmer at the Stepan Demyanchuk International University of Economics and Humanities. Life and Service
Before his mobilization in May 2024, Dmytro worked as an auto mechanic. He adapted quickly to military life, applying his technical skills to repair vehicles. His uncle recalled Dmytro as a positive and open young man who loved playing the guitar and had a keen interest in computers, always smiling and easy to talk to in his free time.
After his death, the soldier's body was identified and returned to his family. Dmytro Tarasevych was laid to rest on February 11, 2026, in the Alley of Heroes at the 'Tynne' Cemetery in Rivne. He is survived by his brother, uncle, and grandfather, who will remember his heroism and dedication to defending his country.
