Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of all those who became victims of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Sergey Buryak.
Sergey Buryak died on November 28, 2025, defending Ukraine from Russian aggressors. He was born in 1994 in Kherson region, and since 2023 he had been serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Buryak was noted for his dedication and high professionalism while performing combat duties as the head of the logistics group.
The tragic event occurred on November 28, when he, along with other servicemen, was wounded as a result of an enemy airstrike. Sergey was buried on December 8. His great loss deepened the wound in the hearts of his loved ones.
