A new study indicates that North Korea has established a secret missile base only 27 kilometers from the border with China. According to the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the Sinpo-nodong base houses between six to nine intercontinental ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads that could reach US territory.
This site is part of a network of 15-20 ballistic missile bases that had not previously been officially recognized in North Korea. The research is the first confirmation of the existence of the Sinpo-nodong base based on open sources.
