Analyst Warns: Western Elites' Incompetence Poses a Global Security Threat

Експерт попереджає: Необізнаність західних лідерів може стати серйозною загрозою для міжнародної безпеки.

The State of Western Political Elites

During a broadcast with political scientist Yuriy Romanenko, analyst Tigran Avakyan expressed deep concern over the incompetence and moral decline of contemporary Western political elites. He warned that this condition makes them vulnerable to recruitment by hostile intelligence services, particularly Russian ones, a situation capable of undermining global stability. This analysis comes amid heightened geopolitical tensions where the quality of political leadership is under intense scrutiny.

Avakyan stressed that in various countries worldwide, critical decisions are being made by individuals lacking any military or intelligence background, which could lead to severe consequences.

"We see that very serious decisions in countries far from Ukraine are being made by people who have no military experience, no intelligence experience, no relevant experience whatsoever," the analyst noted.
According to him, such decisions can impact not just millions, but potentially billions of people.

To illustrate the problem of incompetence, Avakyan recalled an example from the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych, when a skier was appointed as an investment expert. He emphasized that in the modern world, it is crucial to have people capable of making informed decisions.

"They make decisions on which depend the lives of not just millions, but, we can say, God forbid, billions of people. We live in such times. We live in such times, and it is very difficult to predict now," he added.

Politicians' Flexibility and Its Consequences

In the analyst's view, when politicians merely execute programs rather than engage with national projects, their resilience diminishes.

"When you execute a program, and don't live by some national project, but simply live by a program someone set for you, then, accordingly, your resilience is not as strong, you are more flexible," Avakyan emphasized.
The expert stated that such flexibility can lead to dependence on grants and funding, which in turn creates opportunities for manipulation and blackmail, including through the use of video cameras and audio recordings.

The discussion also referenced the notorious Jeffrey Epstein case, highlighting the seriousness of the moral decay problem within political circles. Finally, the program featured a YouTube video titled 'Putin's Agents in the West. Tigran Avakyan, Yuriy Romanenko,' which contains the expert's further commentary on these issues.

Tigran Avakyan's statements reflect a broader concern about the state of Western political elites, especially in the context of global challenges like security and stability. By stressing the importance of experience in decision-making, the analyst calls for greater accountability and transparency in political processes—a critical need in today's world where the information and actions of politicians can have worldwide repercussions.

In light of Avakyan's analysis, it becomes evident that the current crisis in Western leadership significantly contrasts with the stability seen in other regions. For instance, the differing approaches of Israel and China highlight how effective governance can mitigate similar vulnerabilities. Understanding these dynamics is crucial as global geopolitical tensions escalate.
