Support from UNDP
According to her, energy is one of the key areas of support for Ukraine from UNDP. Ukraine has already received significant assistance from partners since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion and during the most difficult periods of escalation - in the form of equipment, technical assistance, and expert evaluation. With the support of UNDP and nine donors, nearly 300 million dollars have been raised, which has allowed for the continuous strengthening of the Ukrainian energy system in response to each blow from Russia.
- Significant assistance is also provided by UNDP to Ukrainian regions.
- Over 475.1 MW of generating capacities have already been installed in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Lviv with the support of UNDP.
The Minister of Energy of Ukraine spoke about the key measures that need to be taken to support the energy sector in the face of Russian attacks and expressed gratitude to UNDP and donors for their immense support and assistance in this matter.
