Expert Volodymyr Omelyanchenko believes that Ukraine can legally block the launch of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant by Russia, employing both various legal measures and possible physical influences. He emphasizes that the Russian launch of the plant with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will violate international law. Even if Americans are involved in this process, it will not prevent Ukraine from protecting its interests and taking appropriate measures, including sabotaging power lines.
It is noted that the Russians have already conducted some infrastructure reconnaissance activities at the site, but Ukraine is also ready to defend its interests and safety in response to any attempts to illegally launch the nuclear power plant by Russia.
