Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant regained access to electricity supply after a four-day disconnection. It was connected to the repaired 750 kV high-voltage line, which became known thanks to the IAEA.
IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi reported that the Zaporizhzhia NPP now has two external lines available for vital nuclear safety functions after power restoration. At the same time, the temporarily occupied station is under threat of blackout due to the loss of the main power line 750 kV Zaporizhzhia NPP - Dnipro.
It is worth noting that backup power supply to the Zaporizhzhia NPP was restored after the completion of repairs on the second backup transmission line. The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, as always, disseminates fake news about a possible sabotage at the Ukrainian station, but their accusations have no basis.
