Russian forces shelled the Zaporizhzhia region over 690 times
Over the last day, Russian troops carried out 696 strikes on 17 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of these attacks, 49 people were injured. This was reported by
“Glavkom”referring to the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration Ivan Fedorov.
Various weapons used by the enemy
According to the head of the OVA, the Russian army used a wide range of weaponry:
- In Zaporizhzhia, two missile strikes were registered.
- The Russian troops carried out 10 airstrikes on various settlements in the region.
- 496 attacks by drones of various modifications were recorded. Several settlements, including Novomykolaivka, Balabyne, Komyshuvakha, and others, came under fire.
- Artillery shelling was also conducted on several settlements, including Plavni, Huliaypole, and Charivne.
Injured and damaged infrastructure facilities
As a result of the attacks, 49 individuals sustained injuries of varying severity. Local authorities received 396 reports of damage to residential buildings, equipment, and infrastructure facilities.
Currently, all victims are receiving the necessary assistance, while emergency services are documenting and eliminating the consequences of enemy attacks.
Russian occupation forces continue aggressive actions in the Zaporizhzhia region, causing harm to the civilian population and the region's infrastructure. The full restoration of stability and security in the region remains a current task for the Ukrainian military and local authorities.
