This evening, enemy forces struck the city of Zaporizhzhia. Unknown individuals damaged a private residential building, but a fire was avoided. As a result of the shelling, two people were injured: a 37-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman. The number of victims is currently being established.

Specialists from the State Emergency Service's pyrotechnics unit inspected the area for dangerous items. Eight rescuers and two units of firefighting equipment were involved in the operation.

The worsening situation in eastern Ukraine continues to threaten the civilian population and the region's infrastructure. Emergencies leave people without housing and pose threats to their lives and health, requiring an urgent response from the authorities and the international community.
