Tractor drivers' salaries in Ukraine increased by 12% over the year and exceeded 31,500 UAH per month. Meanwhile, with bonuses, the income can reach over 36,000 UAH. This is reported by Liga.net.
Tractor drivers' salaries in Ukraine: how much they earn in 2025
According to a study by Agrohub, the average salary of a tractor driver is about 31,600 UAH excluding bonuses. With bonuses, this figure rises to 36,300 UAH.
Wages depend on the type of work. The highest pay is for harvesting:

harvesting — 383 UAH/hour (+5% per year)

spraying — 320 UAH/hour (+8%)

planting — 271 UAH/hour (+14%)

rolling — 142 UAH/hour (+17%).
On average, one tractor driver cultivates about 3,700 hectares.
Wages in the agricultural sector: how working conditions are changing
Agricultural companies' labor costs have also increased by about 5%. At the same time, the number of workers per 10,000 hectares has decreased from 27 to 25 individuals.
Most companies use a combined pay model that includes:

fixed rate

payment for completed work
-
bonuses.
About 76% of employers use this model. Another 21% use piecework pay, and only 2% use exclusively fixed rates.
Analysts note that there is a growing demand for versatile workers who can perform multiple types of work. However, there are still few such specialists.
New technologies are also gradually being implemented in the industry. For example, drones are already used for spraying and desiccation, but their share remains minimal — just over 1% of the area.
The Agrohub study covered seven agricultural holdings, which include over 40 companies and more than 3,600 workers. Data was collected throughout 2025.
