Wage Trends for Ukrainian Workers in Poland
Data from the first nine months of 2025 shows that Ukrainian employees in Poland are earning higher average wages, now exceeding 100,000 hryvnia. In the Polish business sector, the average gross salary in September 2025 was 8,750 Polish zloty, which converts to over 100,000 hryvnia at current exchange rates. This indicates a positive economic shift for Ukrainians working in Poland, a country that has become a major destination for labor migration since the war began.
Highest-Paying Sectors
The logistics sector stands out with one of the highest wage levels, reaching an average of 9,029 zloty in September 2025. While the machinery sector offered a slightly higher average of 9,195 zloty, logistics demonstrated the most dynamic job growth—nearly 5% over the first three quarters of 2025. This highlights the sector's importance in the Polish economy and its appeal to Ukrainian workers.
“The best prospects will open up for those Ukrainians ready to transition into manufacturing and technical specialties.”
Halyna Kirychenko
It is in these fields that Polish companies offer greater stability, higher salaries, and broader opportunities for professional growth. Industries such as:
- computer and electronics manufacturing,
- machinery and automotive industries,
- transport equipment manufacturing (including military),
- furniture and food industries,
are opening new opportunities for Ukrainian workers in Poland.
Overall, the rise in average wages and the creation of new jobs point to positive trends in the labor market for Ukrainians in Poland in 2025.
This wage growth is a significant signal of stability and development in Poland's economy, which may encourage further labor migration. Given the high demand for specialists in technical and production fields, Ukrainians have the chance not only to improve their financial standing but also to gain valuable experience for the future. This dynamic could also strengthen economic ties and bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Poland.
