Salaries in the Ukrainian agricultural sector have noticeably increased over the year: in July 2026, the median salary reached 32,500 UAH, which is almost 48% more than last year's level. Employers are most willing to pay combine harvesters, foresters, and workers with practical skills. This is reported by RBC-Ukraine citing data from OLX Rabota.
How much is paid in Ukraine's agricultural sector in July 2026
The median salary in the category 'Agriculture/Forestry and Agribusiness' reached 32,500 UAH. In July of last year, it was 22,000 UAH.
The highest median salary is offered to combine harvesters - 60,000 UAH. Foresters can expect 48,750 UAH, while seasonal workers and berry pickers can expect 37,500 UAH.
Among other professions, salaries are distributed as follows:
- drivers - 36,250 UAH;
- sawing and cutting workers - 33,750 UAH;
- agronomists - 31,500 UAH;
- gardeners and machinists - around 30,000 UAH;
- workers and manual laborers - 23,500 UAH;
- farmers - 21,500 UAH.
Salaries of seasonal workers increased more than threefold
The most significant change was recorded among seasonal workers and berry pickers. Over the year, the median salary for them skyrocketed from 12,125 to 37,500 UAH, which is more than three times.
For cutting workers, last year they were offered 12,500 UAH, and now - 33,750 UAH. The increase is approximately 2.7 times.
For drivers, the median salary increased from 25,000 to 36,250 UAH, or by 45%. Manual laborers are now offered 23,500 UAH compared to 20,000 UAH a year earlier, while foresters' salaries increased by 15% to 48,750 UAH.

Where are the most job vacancies in the agricultural sector in 2026
Among the analyzed regions, the most job offers were in the Kyiv region - 75 vacancies. Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions had 33 offers each, Odesa - 29, Zhytomyr - 21.
In Chernihiv region, there were 17 vacancies, Sumy - 16, Cherkasy - 14, Kharkiv - 12.
For comparison, the average salary in Ukraine in June 2026 was 32,783 UAH. In the agricultural sector, certain skilled labor specialties already noticeably exceed this level, although income size significantly depends on the profession and demand for workers.
