The Ministry of Internal Affairs has developed an emergency assistance service called 112, which is already available for download. This service can operate even without mobile connectivity, making it very convenient in critical situations. According to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko, the application allows users to quickly get help by calling rescuers, police, medical services, or gas service to the location.
One of the features of the application is the ability to use it in areas with Wi-Fi but no mobile signal, in regions with poor coverage, or during emergencies. In the future, there are plans to expand functionality, including an option for calling using sign language to make the service accessible to all users.
At the same time, it is important to remember that all personal data in the application is protected and used only for processing emergency calls. The application complies with state cybersecurity standards, ensuring the confidentiality and security of user information.
