The government launches 'Mria.Preschool': what will change for parents and kindergartens

On Thursday, October 23, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to make changes to the operation of the educational mobile application 'Mria'. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to government resolution No. 1334.



Changes introduced by the Cabinet:



  • The Ministry of Digital Transformation is to ensure the modernization of the 'Mria' application for preschool institutions.

  • The Ministry of Education and Science must fill and improve the software to perform the functions required by the changes and provide a list of institutions that will use the application in the educational process.

  • The Ministries of Education and Science and Digital Transformation must agree on candidates for inclusion in the Selection Commission for partnership and ensure its functioning.



Head of government Yulia Sviridenko explained: 'Mria.Preschool' will allow educators to easily keep track of attendance, classes, nutrition, and sleep, while parents will have access to information about their child's education and achievements. The application will become a platform for gamification and content sharing between teachers and companies.'



According to Sviridenko, over the year, teachers submitted more than 11 million grades, over 5 million absence records, and also reviewed planning in the journal and added more than 2.5 million homework assignments using 'Mria'. In April 2025, the application became available for all Ukrainian schools.



The government made changes to the operation of the educational mobile application 'Mria', aimed at improving its functionality for preschool institutions and convenience for both teachers and parents. The reforms involve modernizing the software and creating a platform for collaboration among participants in the educational process.
