Diplomat Oleksandr Mishchenko visited Sumy on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha. During the visit, he met with the city and regional leadership and commemorated the anniversary of the A. S. Makarenko University.
Due to the attacks by the Russian enemy, Sumy region is facing severe consequences for the civilian population. Recently, Russian occupiers abducted about 50 residents of Hrabovskyi, violating international humanitarian law.
Meeting with students and professors
Before visiting Sumy, Mishchenko met with students and faculty of the A. S. Makarenko University. He emphasized the importance of training young professionals in the field of international relations and offered internship opportunities at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the anniversary celebration of the university, the diplomat urged students to actively prepare for work in the diplomatic service and defend the interests of the country.
