Ukraine's participation in the 51st meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) was active. Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis noted Bulgaria's role in achieving the organization's goals and emphasized that Russian aggression has turned the Black Sea region into a zone of instability. He also expressed gratitude for the support of the joint statement condemning Russia's armed aggression.
According to Yevhen Perebyinis, the implementation of BSEC's goals is complicated by the war initiated by Russia and attacks on critical infrastructure in the Black Sea region. He called on member countries to support the condemning statement regarding aggression.
Thus, Ukraine's participation in the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of BSEC was significant, especially in the context of supporting the joint statement condemning Russia's aggression and emphasizing the inadmissibility of the aggressor state's membership in the organization.
