Participants of the informal EU Council meeting in Lviv included not only representatives of the EU member states but also high-ranking Ukrainian officials, including Deputy Prime Minister Taras Kachka and EU Commissioner Marta Kos. During the meeting, issues related to Ukraine's European integration, negotiation processes, and the reforms necessary for Ukraine to quickly gain EU membership were discussed.
The participants emphasized their readiness to support Ukraine in all areas, including political, economic, and military, as well as in providing financial assistance. In particular, the provision of a Reparations loan using Russian assets and ensuring the financial stability of the nation was discussed.
Side meetings also took place during the session, where representatives of Ukraine met with delegations from other EU member states to discuss opportunities for further cooperation and coordination for Ukraine's further integration into EU structures.
