The format of the peace agreement is being determined at the negotiations to end the war in Ukraine. The results of these negotiations are expected to be reported by Christmas. This information was provided by the portal «Glavcom» according to Fedor Venislavskyi, who is a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence, in an interview with Radio NV.
According to Venislavskyi, American and European partners of Ukraine realize the necessity of concluding a peace agreement now, so that it can later be agreed upon by all parties to the conflict, including the Russian Federation.
Progress in peace negotiations
«Diplomacy is doing its work and there is progress. How obvious it is, we will understand in the coming weeks. By Christmas, as various parties assert, we will know whether we will achieve a result», emphasized Venislavskyi.
The President stressed the importance of the negotiations held and the necessity of concluding a peace agreement.
International negotiations in Berlin
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Berlin for a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, as well as to discuss future steps together with European leaders. During the visit to Berlin, the U.S. Special Representative Steve Witkoff also held discussions on this topic along with the Ukrainian president and European representatives.
Negotiations to end the war in Ukraine are finally approaching completion. Political figures from Ukraine, Europe, and the U.S. are actively working on concluding a peace agreement, which will be an important step in resolving the conflict in Eastern Ukraine.
