President Volodymyr Zelensky announced important changes in the provision of Ukrainian soldiers after a meeting at the Headquarters. These innovations were developed taking into account the problems that the military voiced during their communication with him at the front.
One of the key changes is a significant increase in funding for combat units. Now each brigade will receive 7 million hryvnias per battalion participating in combat operations. According to the president, this increase amounts to tens of millions of hryvnias and the new rules will contribute to an even distribution of funds.
'This is exactly what was said in every brigade,' the head of state emphasized.
Additionally, attention was paid to the technical support of the front. Now combat brigades are allowed to independently purchase equipment using direct funding, which is an innovation in this area.
'The mechanism will work similarly to the drone procurement system, and this will allow purchasing not only new vehicles but also equipment that has been in use,' Zelensky explained.
As a result of the meeting at the Headquarters, important changes in financing and provision for Ukrainian soldiers were announced, which will contribute to improving their service conditions at the front.
