Fundraising Campaign 'Steel Allies' Successfully Concludes
The 'Steel Allies' fundraiser, a joint initiative by UNITED24 and the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has officially wrapped up. This global campaign gathered a total of 36,935,933 hryvnias—approximately $825,802 USD—from contributors spanning over 75 countries. Ukrainian diplomatic missions, diaspora communities, and international partners played key roles, with the largest donations coming from the United States, Australia, Turkey, Japan, and the Czech Republic.
Purpose of the Funds Collected
The funds will be allocated to purchasing 11 types of unmanned ground vehicle systems for Ukraine’s armed forces. These robotic platforms will support a variety of combat and engineering operations, including reconnaissance, mine clearance, casualty evacuation, and cargo delivery. The models designated for deployment include:
