The Ukraine U-18 team held its first friendly match during the training camp before the European Championship. The team played against the national team of Georgia, with a result of 73:65 in favor of the Georgians. Players from both teams had the opportunity to showcase their skills on the court, and the Ukrainian basketball players demonstrated a high level of play.
Players' performances were noted by the coaching staff. Petr Bilous, Grigory Leskiv, and Vladislav Sinik showed good results in the match, but the team overall lost to the Georgians. The next friendly match will take place on July 16, and the coaches intend to test other tactical solutions during the game.

The Ukraine U-20 men's team lost to Belgium in their second group stage match of the European Championship. At the end of the game, the Belgian team made a key run, winning the fourth quarter. The most effective player on the Ukrainian side was Daniil Sipalo with 9 points and 8 rebounds.
