The men's basketball team of Ukraine secured first place in the pre-qualification round of the World Cup 2027, defeating Slovakia with a score of 98:86 in an away match of the last round. Our players demonstrated confident play, advanced to the main round of the qualifying tournament, and will continue the fight for qualification for the world championship.
Under the coach's guidance, the Ukrainian team displayed a high level of play, achieving victories over their opponents. Ukrainian Oleksandr Koval was the top scorer of the match, scoring 33 points and significantly helping his team to victory over the Slovak team.
