The Ukrainian jiu-jitsu team has topped Europe for the first time: 50 medals in Zadar

The Ukrainian jiu-jitsu team became the winner in the team standings at the European Championship among adults and youth, juniors and cadets in the no-gi division. In the Croatian city of Zadar, 361 athletes from 21 countries competed, including 63 Ukrainians. Our athletes won a total of 50 medals - 24 gold, 12 silver, and 14 bronze.



After the European Championship in Zadar, the World Cup took place, where the Ukrainian team also secured first place in the team standings, winning 44 medals - 19 gold, 13 silver, and 12 bronze. Ukraine entered the top 10 of the overall medal standings of the European Youth Olympic Festival, taking 10th place. Our team won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals.



The Ukrainian jiu-jitsu team showed impressive results at both the European Championship and the World Cup, overall winning 94 medals. Ukrainian athletes demonstrated a high level of skill and confidently occupied leading positions in both competitions.
