The Ukraine futsal team is preparing for the final part of Euro-2026 and has played its first friendly match against the Portuguese team. The game was filled with attacks from both sides, and Ihor Korsun opened the scoring in the 12th minute. The Portuguese managed to respond, and the match ended with a score of 1:1.
The next friendly match is scheduled for December 21. In addition, the Ukrainian team is preparing for Euro-2026, which will take place in Latvia, Lithuania, and Slovenia from January 21 to February 7. Our footballers have also already secured a place in the World Cup playoffs and plan to play against the Swedish team.
In the previous group stage of the futsal world championship, the Ukrainian team defeated the Icelandic team with a score of 2:0, scoring goals in the final minutes of the match. This is an excellent result for our athletes, who are preparing for important tournaments in the future.
