Preparation of the Ukraine Futsal Team for Euro-2026

The Ukraine Futsal Team is set to begin its final stage of preparation for Euro-2026, which will take place from January 21 to February 7 in Latvia, Lithuania, and Slovenia. The team plans to hold its last training camp in Poland before the championship starts.

At the 13th European Futsal Championship, the Ukrainian team has been placed in Group B, where its opponents will be:

  • Armenia
  • Lithuania
  • Czech Republic

The first match for Ukraine at Euro will be on January 22 against Armenia. It's important to note that on January 17, the team will play a friendly match against Slovenia, concluding its preparation for the official games.

Team Composition and Expectations

Head coach Oleksandr Kosenko has called up the following players to the squad:

  • Goalkeepers: Yurii Savenko, Oleksandr Sukhov, Ivan Beliymov
  • Universals: Yevhenii Zhuk, Ihor Cherniavskyi, Oleksandr Pedyash, Andrii Melnyk, Vladyslav Perveev, Artem Farenyuk, Nazar Shved, Daniil Abakshin, Petro Shoturma, Illya Prykhodko, Ihor Korsun, Mykola Mykytiuk
