Ukrainian Weightlifters Shine at European Championships
Competing in Batumi, Georgia, Ukraine's national weightlifting team brought home 12 medals from the European Championships. The squad claimed 4 bronze medals and landed in 5th place overall among 368 athletes representing 51 countries. This marks a strong showing for Ukraine on the continental stage.
Top Performers at the Event
Among the medalists, Iryna Dombrovska earned bronze in both the snatch and clean and jerk events in the women's 77 kg category. She lifted 110 kg in the snatch and 133 kg in the clean and jerk, achieving a total of 243 kg. In the men's +110 kg category, Vladyslav Prylypko also took bronze, successfully completing a 231 kg clean and jerk.
In total, Ukrainian weightlifters delivered an impressive performance, collecting 12 medals throughout the championship.
